13 Horses from Putnam County
June 12, 2010

Law Enforcement Officers, Animal Control, and Investigators from Animal Protection Coalition, Inc./Indiana Horse Rescue went out to a Putnam County property due to complaints on starving horses. Law Enforcement had been to the property several times for horses running at large. Law Enforcement believe that the law was being violated and impounded 13 horses. The horses were captured and transported to IHR Southwest for medical evaluations and emergency triage.  The photos below show several but not all of the horses that were impounded due to neglect.

Photo pages of each individual horse  are now available. Click here for photos and information!

Support is desperately needed for these horses, they are all underweight and in need of a lot of care. Please consider making a donation TODAY!
