He sees more than most horses
that have their sight. Rusty will stay as a permanent resident to
help those that need him. Thanks to generous gifts he will soon
have a special fence put up that allows him to spend more time outdoors!

Rusty is now a permanent resident. He will be used for education on
blind equine. He is safe to handle and use for training on picking
hooves and grooming. He is being worked with by Kelsey, one of our
senior volunteers who has earned his trust. She hopes to be riding him
soon!

Tina, You are everything Rusty was waiting for. Your love and patience
is bringing out the best in this big boy. Thank you for having the love
and time that he needed, he will repay you with love and more than my
words can express.
Rusty!! This red is the most
beautiful Chestnut I have seen in a long time! I bet this boy was
spectacular in his day. The picture does not show you that he usually
looks up to the sky. We are not sure if he may have a small amount of
sight in the lower part of his eye or not. He is so beautiful - it
makes you wonder what happened. He is said to be very well broke, we
will be working with him as time allows. Can you help support Rusty
until we find him a forever home? He appears to be very well adjusted
to his loss of sight and just requires a confident handler.
