What
resources does the rescue have?
Animal Protection Coalition, Inc is a 501(c)3 non profit
organization.
Because of having our non profit status, this enables our
organization to benefit from different grants, donations, etc.
that are tax deductible to the persons or organizations
donating.
Our resources are you! Without people such as you,
we could not exist, we could not care for the number of animals
we take in. Animal Protection Coalition, Inc has 7
divisions across the State of Indiana. Cast A Way Cats is
our Feline Division in Northwestern Indiana, SCRAPS is our
Canine Division and are located in Southern Indiana. We
have 5 Equine Divisions across the state, IHR East, IHR Central,
IHR Central West, IHR South and IHR Southwest. All our
divisions work with many other rescues and humane societies.
We currently lease one of our equine
facilities, own 2 of the equine facilities, and the other
equine, feline and canine facilities are run from the Manager's
property. Most vehicles used at the rescues are either
personal vehicles or older vehicles that have been donated and
are used to transport horses, hay, feed, etc.
Animal Protection Coalition, Inc,
nor any of its divisions receive any state, county or government
funding. Understand that most Humane Societies do receive
county funding. We all do what we do, because we believe
that someone must do it, and we work very hard at finding homes
and caring for the animals in the best possible manner.
If you feel the need, all our
divisions could use your support, whether it is in the way of
volunteering, writing grants, fundraising, or donating, anything
you can do to support Animal Protection Coalition, Inc is
greatly appreciated. |
