Baron is an 8 year old
Anglo-Arabian gelding. He stands at approximately 14.2hh and is just a
beauty! Baron had been trained for endurance and was doing very well in
the few competitions he was in. He went back to the trainer for some
extra training, and something happened, his front left fetlock tendon
was sprained. He has been on stall rest since injured in July 2007. His
injury has healed and he is working up to being able to be turned out
but he will never be able to run endurance races again. Baron is still
able to do light to medium riding, but will need to have a very
experienced rider as he is very powerful and and spirited. He will be
released from medical watch once we have worked him up to being able to
be turned out without risk that he will blow the tendon again.
Please help sponsor Baron's
care while he is rehabilitated at IHR!!! |
