Kelo is just perfect. He is just a sweetheart. Today he was ridden by
one of our volunteers. He neck reins and direct reins as well as
responds to leg cues. He is very well behaved and willing to go where
ever you ask him to. He is not for beginners as he is blind and his
rider will need to pay very good attention to his surrounding when
ridden! 05/18/08
Kelo is a very well loved horse! He is 24 years old and very well
cared for, unfortunately where he was boarded was not set up for a blind
horse. He is going blind, at this time
he is blind in one eye and has depth perception problems in the other
eye. He has
been shown, trail ridden, etc. We will update more as soon as he we
have worked with him.
