12/19/09 - Thank you to everyone who has participated in the dollar Christmas cards. It is so heartwarming to know that so many of you are out there. These dollars may not be a lot to you, but they really add up - these funds will go directly to purchase hay and grain for the horses. We have come so far with your help and hope to always be here for horses in need!

Thank you to everyone who has been donating during these hard economical times - the horses depend on us for their care and we can not do it alone - your continued support is greatly appreciated!

Can you help? The horses are in need!

Does your company do any matching donations? Can you send out an e-mail to your friends? There are rescues all over the country that are closing, and that is not what we want to do, but we can not continue without funds to feed and care for the horses.

I looked at all the animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of humans.
I saw in their eyes love, hope, fear, dread, sadness and I was angry.
“God,” I said, “this is terrible!
Why don’t you do something?”
God was silent and then he said,
