Lolita was worked today (01/25/2012) both on the ground and under
saddle. She will lunge in both directions often throwing her head and
having fun. Once under saddle, however, this little lady is all
business. She responds very well under saddle and was ridden with a
halter and reins, no bit. She does not spook easily and prefers to take
it slow. She is a little girth shy, but we will be working with her to
improve this skill. She does much better if slowly tightening the girth
and not rush it. Please check back soon as we work more with Lolita!

Lolita is a 7 year old Arabian
type Mare. She is a sweet mare that wants all of your attention. Lolita
will take a saddle and bridle with ease. She has been ridden in the
round pen and an arena setting by both beginners and experienced riders
however she is not well broke. Lolita seems to gravitate towards men,
but gets along fine with women as well. |
