UPDATE

Plato is doing really well. He knows how to lead pretty good without a butt rope now. He pays attention really well and is just a lover. We are still working on picking up his feet. He will pick up the fronts, but not for very long. He will be turning a year old next month and he would make a GREAT project horse to finish raising and training!

Plato is getting bigger and bigger each day. He has been weaned from Mom and is now hanging out in a stall with another young horse that is about his age. He is getting spunkier too. He has SO much personality! He loves to play with a jolly ball, we hung one from the rafters and he thought it was the greatest toy ever! He is getting a little chunky right now, he hasn't been out to exercise very often because of the weather. We are looking forward to getting him outside soon and hopefully teach him what electric fence is, that should be fun...

Plato is growing FAST! He has learned to lead, which he does pretty good at, he just doesn't like the idea of getting his halter put on. He is a very social baby and loved to be petted and brushed. He is well behaved for a youngster! He loves to run and play and is really fast! We were all surprised when he started changing color from a bright chestnut to a chocolate brown like his mom. This little guy is so handsome, he is going to be gorgeous when he gets older!

Plato's Diamond was born early on June 6, 2007. He was very alert and very curious. He continues to grow and flourish. He likes to go outside to run and play. He doesn't like having a halter put on, but he is okay with it once it is on him. Plato LOVES to have his neck and his rump rubbed and scratched. We have started picking up his feet, he will lift them up for short periods of time, but he doesn't really understand why he has to do it. He has already been dewormed, as his mother, Rhaxma, was infested with parasites. Plato has also been vaccinate, which he wasn't too fond of. He is doing very well, however he and his mother are still being watched closely.
