Pookie What a doll! Pookie is a very sweet Quarter Horse mare. Pookie knows how to lead and picks up all four feet with ease! One of our volunteers had brought her in to work with her and we were pleasantly surprised to see that Pookie took a bridle, saddle, and rider with ease! She was very aware of what she was being asked to do and knew her directions well. She stayed very calm under saddle but was also very cautious. Pookie needs an experienced rider as she has not been ridden outside of the arena here at IHR. She is a very social mare who craves attention and will walk right up to you in the pasture.
