Ruby

05/23/08
Ruby has always been really shy and we have finally broken the shell. Ruby is leading really well now. She still can be somewhat difficult to catch by people she doesn't know, but once caught she leads well even without a butt rope. We are still working on picking up her feet, as she is not that fond of people touching her legs, but that will just come with time and practice.

Ruby is now available for adoption, as her previous adopter does not have as much time to spend with her as she would like.  Ruby is such a doll and really needs an experienced adopter to teach her - she is very smart and is ready to learn.  Ruby is a yearling filly.

Ruby is doing well, since being dewormed she has lost a lot of her shaggy coat and is turning into a beautiful little bay. She is still shy and needs a lot of handling, as she was not handled much prior to being in our custody. If you like little ones and have experience with ground manners and foal handling, Ruby would make an excellent project horse!

Before any of these horses are available for adoption, they will be up to date on vaccinations, hooves trimmed, current on deworming and castrated if they are stud colts or stallions.

We do not have a lot of information on these horses at this time, but hope to be able to give you more information as we learn their personalities.
