Tulip is doing GREAT! Her personality is coming out and she is a very
happy girl! She is very friendly and loves people! Tulip is a very
special girl and needs a very special home! She deserves to be pampered
and treated with the best of care. This little lady beat the odds and
has turned into a beautiful mare!

Tulip's condition has improved greatly, when I look at her in her
pasture, you can not even tell she was the same horse that came in in
July. She is very spunky and is the boss of her little herd. She still
needs to have her grain soaked, as she has a deformity with her
esophagus and chokes easily if it is not soaked. She loves having a
blanket on when it gets cold, she stands very still for you to fasten
every strap. I really need to get more pictures up of her, keep an
eye out, I may have some new ones up in the next couple of days!! |

Tulip is doing very well. She has finished a
round of IV antibiotics and dewormer. Her continued improvement has been
very promising that she will make a full recovery. She is gaining her
weight slowly but surely. She enjoys being brushed and will stand for
hours while you brush her. She is a great horse and will make some one a
VERY happy horse owner, once she is adopted! |

Tulip is a 5 year old Thoroughbred mare. She
came to the rescue because her owners could not keep weight on her and
she was very sick. Tulip is a very sweet little girl. She has been a
dream to work with, even though she doesn't feel very well. She is in
need of some serious medical care along with some corrective hoof care
(she has cracks all on her rear hooves that go all the way up to the
coronet band). She is responding well to her antibiotics, however she is
still not out of the woods. It is always touch and go with this precious
one!
Please keep her in your prayers. |
