Tuesday - Saturday  BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Appointments are normally scheduled Tuesday-Saturday between 12:00PM to 6:00PM

Sunday & Monday IHR Southwest is CLOSED to the public

Showing up without an appointment, you may be turned away as many times we may have prior appointments, emergency calls, investigations, or major work days scheduled for the volunteers. While finding homes for the horses is a priority, work and upkeep is very time consuming.

Throughout the day our volunteers are out in the barn or around the farm, if no one answers the phone, leave a voice message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

IHR does not have a paid staff to answer telephone calls or provide tours of the farm.

IHR does have a limited number of volunteers working to care for the rescue horses in our program.

We appreciate the inquiries and we are happy to talk to you about the horses, but please schedule your visit to inquire about the horses or set up an appointment to have a tour of farm.

There are many times we are called out on an investigation or have an emergency
and must close the farm to the public.
